Vintage Milk Bottle, One Pint Glass Milk Bottle, Repurposed Vase, Thatcher Glass Milk Bottle, Glass Vase

18.60

This vintage milk bottle is about as old as they come. It was likely reused on a regular basis and dropped off on the back steps of a rural home by a milk man. At least that's what I like to imagine. It's definitely seen some years and a lot of milk. The bottle is traditional in style with a round opening at the top but with the sides squared off so as to make it easier to fit multiple bottles into a carrier. Around the bottom of the glass bottle is printed "One Pint", "Liq. 409", "2 Reg.", and "Sealed mTc S". This last marking identifies it as being made by the Thatcher Glass Manufacturing Company somewhere in the 1920's-1940's.

This neat bottle would be great for serving or storing liquids or could be repurposed as a great farmhouse style vase.

This vintage piece does not have any chips or cracks but does have some scratches on one side.

7" tall, opening is 1.5" in diameter, including lip is approximately 2" in diameter. Base is 2.5" square.

Wash before use.
Not considered dishwasher safe.
